GREAT OGBORU SHALL ATTRACT COMPANIES AND BUSINESSES TO DELTA

LAWYER/POLITICAL AFFAIRS ANALYST PETER EKAVWO ESQ., speaks

Delta State is in dire need of Companies and Industries that would fast-track development, create jobs for the teeming and unemployed vibrant youths, which would in turn rejig the economy and promote
real prosperity among the good people of Delta State. This aspect of life has been abandoned and neglected by successive administration. Rather than attract industries to the State, their governments have witnessed massive relocation of companies and industries from Delta State, leaving the bubbling Delta State in a state of unemployment  and monumental hunger and deprivation.

A careful appraisal of this would reveal that one of the key reasons for this, is the fact that the State Governors who have ruled the State in the past are not real business men i.e. they have not successful run businesses which Nigerians can relate with. Thus, they might not really understand the intrigues of growing businesses and making them stay afloat.

Governor Okowa was not and is not known to be a successful business man before he ventured into politics since 1999 and from where he, like his peers that have governed the State amassed wealth obviously through resources of State. It is thus true, that Deltans cannot reasonably point to reputable Companies and industries that have been sited in Delta State since his assumption as Governor in 2015. The effect is continual joblessness, poverty and lack of economic prosperity.

Rather, under this government and like his predecessors of the same party, it is a known fact that a lot of Companies have relocated from Delta to other State, as a result of bad governance.

OGBORU STRATEGY FOR INDUSTRIALIZATION.

The Great Ogboru has been a very successful businessman who has successfully floated multi-million dollars Companies and is rated among top business men in the country. (For more details, read his biography on this page)

He intends to industrialize the State through the following means:

1. Provision of a safe and secured environment for Companies and their personnel to freely operate in the State, through the involvement of the youths and communities in securing the State.

2. Punishment of all acts that scare away investors such as "deve", kidnapping, thuggery etc.

3. Engagement of Youths in modern agriculture.

4. Synergy with the Federal Government to revitalize Warri and Sapele Ports, to promote industrial revolution.

5. Interaction with top world class businesses with incentives to site their companies in the State.

6. Construction of world class road networks, fly over, bridges and beautification of all parts of the State to attract visitors and Companies.

7. Engagement with Oil Companies on the need to return to the State.

8. Established of Companies in the area of Gas, power, Oil and agro-allied through Public/Private Partnership

Dear People of Delta, Shall we sacrifice these and allow Governor Okowa to continue to put the State on the reverse gear?
Shall we buy in to the  idea of "it is the turn of Delta North" to allow Okowa further plunge the State into poverty, unemployment and huge indebtedness?

The Choice is ours, Delta can be great again. Lets chose Development as opposed to turn by turn, Lets chose industrialization rather than ethnicity, Lets chose economic prosperity rather than poor governance and looting of our common wealth.

A vote for Ogboru is a vote for greatness and prosperity. A vote for Okowa is a vote for looting, underdevelopment, poverty and joblessness.
Complements of the Season!
