Delta State is currently under hostage by a few set of politicians, who are bent on rotating among themselves, friends, children and cronies. It is their act to fool the people with whatever tricks such as zoning, ethnicity, hunger and deprivation to continue to perpetuate themselves, with a view to continue the wanton looting of the common wealth of the state, while throwing peanuts to the masses, in the form of substandard few kilometers of roads, poor health care, unemployment etc.
The current torch of that group is Governor Okowa, who has simply continue in that mediocre type of governance. Delta State has become a laughing stock with no sustainable progress. Under the leadership of this cabals in Delta for the past twenty years, we have witnessed the following:
1. Massive relocation of oil companies from the state.
2. Industrialist are not interested in setting up new companies in the state.
3. Civil servants are not motivated as salaries are delayed and pensioners groan for years to get their battered gratutities and pensions.
4. Unemployment is at its peak.
Okowa does not deserve a second term under any guise. Deltans cannot be fooled with zoning. All Deltans of good will, must come out on 9th March to take back their state, with the instrumentality of their PVCs. This is the only way Delta can grow progressively.
The Great Ogboru is leading this battle. We are encourage to support him, lest we become slaves for these cabals and their families.
